A very long time ago, I was a nervous second grader giving my first speech ever. It was, as I recall, about France. I soon grew out of my nervousness, and eventually even did speaking events for fun. Fast forward a few years, and I've once again found an outlet for my public speaking bug: Toastmasters. I'm a member of the Wavemakers chapter at First American Flood Data Services, working toward my Competent Toastmater certificate. We meet Tuesdays from noon to 1:00 pm.
